I let acedia take over for the summer, let it slip over me like a warm bath. I wrote about it before, shortly before I left, the silencing, the tightening up in my throat, until I realized I had nothing to say. Or I did, but it became too exhausting to say it. Too exhausting to even think of the process of saying it. But it is winter now, or so it likes to play at, and with it my inner voice has sprung up, Athena-like, her sword cutting through my mental vocal cords. At least for the moment. We walked side by side, a line of youth. The streets glittered bright in the darkness With the smell of cloves frozen on the wind, And whiskey burning into the cores of our beings. I looked into your eyes and saw the dimness of uncertainty. Each step led to further darkness As fewer cold breaths were seen puffing forward. I lost each one escaping, and escaping again. Now I wonder if your eyes hold any happiness, While mine continue to search for that familiar sidewalk, And the feeling of home.

Disappearing, Disappearing, A day seems to tick off by the moment. I mark the weeks by shipments And New Release Tuesdays, With the bright tempting packages In their shiny foil wrappings. Bramwolf approaches the large chapel at the brink of dusk with some trepidation, the shadows from the sun setting behind the building casting themselves over her and the lush surroundings, causing the chapel itself to look even more foreboding and almost alive in itself. I am made up of a hundred separate dreams, Each one converging and splitting apart into stars and moons That change their faces and their constellations with the seasons To make a prettier sky for you. Semi-Yearly Update

I'm uploading some things I wrote in August. I've been painfully bad about writing anything the last, oh, six months or so, hermiting myself inside my head and away from everyone. You know, like usual. Not even an LJ update in months. Ahh well. Been working on something, might finish it. Been studying my own interests, Psych, Religion, Esoteric stuff as always. Dabbling in the thought of self teaching myself more history, as I barely paid any attention the first time around.

The in-between spaces.

The 14th marked the third month that I've been here. We, Kade and I, are technically common law by now, in the state of Texas. Not that that really means anything, unless something happened that had to be taken up in court. I bought some sushi to mark the occasion, told him he was stuck with me now, and it was a good night. When I call home now it's strange, as though now that I've been out of their house for some time they don't know how to relate to me. Perhaps that's the normal adjusting thing, but it feels odd. I'm going to cut back on calling them (was talking to them about once a week) and see if time in between conversations doesn't g
